SPONSORED TIP WNYC’s Leonard Lopate hosts a three-day food festival in The Greene Space at WNYC to explore the locavore movement, urban farming, vegetables, cheesemaking and chickens. In collaboration with FoodKarma Projects and Just Food, the events includes demonstrations, tastings, live music and wine. On Sunday at 2pm, you can meet Fred Lee, Cathy Erway, Grace Young and King Phojanakong of Umi Nom during “Healthy but Good: Eat Your Greens!“; Monday at 7pm, Keith McNally, Michael Lee and Anne Saxelby talk “Agri + Culture: Cheese“; and Tuesday at 7pm, Bill Telepan and Yonnette Fleming discuss “Faces of Farming: The Chicken or the Egg.” Tickets are $25 for each event, or $60 for the entire festival.
