CITYWIDE This week, celebrate New York’s Dutch history with 5 Dutch Days. The annual event, which takes place throughout all five boroughs starting today, includes tours, lectures, and celebrations highlighting the past and present influence of Dutch culture on the city. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Williamsburg’s Holland Tunnel Gallery hosts Delft Blues, an event combining reinvented Delft Blue pottery with live jazz by Heleen Schuttevaer, a Dutch pianist and vocalist. Other events include a performance of Dutch music at the Old Stone House and a bike tour of Dutch New York on Saturday; on Sunday, the Old First Reformed Church is holding a 1600s-style Dutch Reformed Worship service, and the Danish Athletic Club is hosting a talk on Scandinavian women in Dutch New York and a dinner with Dutch and Scandinavian treats.
