Location, Location, Location

COBBLE HILL Recession Art returns to The Invisible Dog with What is the Where?, a new show that explores how location affects perception. The 15 emerging artists, like Jess Levey, who is documenting the overdevelopment of Brooklyn, are working within every possible medium, and they are selling their pieces at very affordable prices (often $500 or less). At tonight’s opening party from 6pm till midnight, artist Jennifer Mills will be making lightening quick, personalized paintings based upon her one-on-one encounters, and selling them for a song. There are many interesting programs lined up before the show ends Nov. 21, like Sunday’s talk with young, independent curators.
