Conviction in Salon Shooting

A jury convicted Robert Crawford, 26 of murder in the second degree, four counts of assault in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, according to Empire State News. His accomplice Zaire Paige has already been convicted of similar charges. Both will be sentenced on December 13, 2010, and could face life imprisonment.

Paige and Crawford were responsible for shooting five people in a salon, killing one and injuring others, including an off-duty police officer. The shooting was in response to an earlier incident involving the man killed in the salon.
