Students in Brooklyn Exposed to ‘Benign’ Substance

Students at Frederick Douglass Academy in Starrett City, Brooklyn were exposed to a ‘benign’ substance today, CBS New York.com reports. Eleven students and two adults were treated after they were exposed to the unknown substance. Reports say a student may have brought some substance or chemical and sprayed it or exposed other students to it. The substance was not considered toxic. “They were complaining of feeling a little bit dizzy — some of them nauseousness, but nobody was vomiting,” EMS Chief Jeanne Guarnieri said.
